The Bavaria C57 is the first model of a new range of Bavaria performance cruisers, designed by Cossutti Design and aimed to simplify the sailing experience utilizing modern sailing techniques.
From the construction, deck layout design and interior design, the Bavaria C57 includes innovative features that use proven technologies based on Bavaria’s 40 years of production experience.
With an upwind sail area of 136 sqm, the Bavaria C57 promises pure sailing pleasure and excellent sailing characteristics. With its twin rudders, the C57 can be kept on course with ease and at the touch of a button. Downwind, the power comes from a 232 sqm gennaker, maximizing the full performance potential of the Bavaria C57.
The cockpit design is revolutionary: the two helm stations offer perfect visibility in all weather conditions. The sails can be easily trimmed trimmed by the helmsman, using the four large winches situated alongside the helm. The sailing of the Bavaria C57 is therefore not only extremely easy but can also be managed by small crews.
Crew and guests can enjoy a day’s sailing at the cockpit table, which can be lowered, turning the cockpit into a lounge area. Two additional large relaxation areas can be found on the cabin deck and on the bow.
The owner’s cabin in the bow leaves nothing to be desired. A king-sized bed, an en-suite bathroom, a separate shower, and plenty of cupboard space are already part of the standard design. The two spacious guest cabins are located aft. The wide double beds can be transformed into single beds with just a few movements. The Bavaria C57 can be configured with up to 5 cabins, including a separate skipper cabin and bath on the bow.
The C57 transom offers the option of a full dingy garage or a large storage area for toys, accessible by a large bathing platform. On deck, the transom can be configured with a wet bar, grill, and fridge.
